Palm Beach County Jail Inmate Search

 

Visits: Inmate family desiring a visit must adhere to the following:

  • Hats, scarf's, bandanas, sun-visors , etc. are not permitted.
  • All attire must at least be short sleeved and fully cover the shoulders, back and mid-section.
  • Dresses, skirts, Bermuda-length shorts more than three inches (3") above the knee are not permitted.
  • Shoes are mandatory

Inmate Jail Visitation Notice:
 Effective November 1, 2008 The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is implementing an Authorized Visitation List for visitors to all of its jail facilities. Only those individuals designated by the inmate and approved by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Department of Corrections will be permitted entry into the detention facility for visitation purposes. Any convicted felon or persons with gang affiliations will no longer be permitted entry into the facilities for visitation purposes.

How to obtain an inmate's personal property that is being stored in the jail's property room?
Inmates must provide written authorization to release all personal items stored when booked at the jail. Items taken are stored in tamper proof bags. Transfer of property requests are processed Monday through Friday from 8:30AM to 3:00PM and only after the inmate's signature has been verified will the items be released. Valid photo identification must be provided when picking up an inmate's property.

The Palm Beach County jail and Sheriff's office is one of the most modern and advanced agencies in the country. The PBSO Sheriff's Office has over 3,400 officers and employees. The Gun Club Road is the main detention facility for the county and houses thousands of inmate annually.

How to Send an Inmate Mail?
Family or friends wishing to write to an inmate should send letters to the following mailing address. Note: inmates housed at the Main Jail Detention Center or the Stockade the address is the same. Mail to: Palm Beach County Jail, P.O. Box 24716, West Palm Beach, Florida 33416. All incoming mail must have the inmates booked name, jacket number, and cell assignment on the outside of the envelope.

Mail will be refused for the following reasons:

  • If the information is incorrect on the outside of the envelope.
  • If the mail contains an unauthorized item.
  • If the inmate is released or no longer in custody.
  • If the mail does not comply with the facility rules.

Sending money through Western Union.
You may send an inmate money using western union quick collect. The code city for Western Union COMMISSARY transactions is GUNCLUBJAIL. The code city for Western Union BOND transactions is PBSOJAIL The inmate's full name and jacket number must be included on the Western Union check. Information on how to send a Western Union transaction are available at www.westernunion.com.

Cash Deposits are Accepted at all Jail lobbies.
Cashier Kiosks are located in the lobbies of the Main Jail Detention Center and the Stockade. Inmate's family may directly deposit funds into an inmate's account via cash, credit or debit cards.
